Dear Sensei and Friends:
I hope this email finds you well. We would like to make an announcement for 2015 Goyokai Seminar and Tournament.
The location of the seminar and tournament is still being worked out. But, it will be in the area near Boston Higashi School in Randolph, MA. Once the location is finalized, we will send the announcement with the registration form through email.
This year, the Goyokai will have three distinguished guest sensei again from Japan for a Kendo Weekend event on Nov. 13, 14, and 15, 2015.
Guest sensei from Japan (they were at the 2014 Goyokai seminar and tournament):
Hironori Tahara Sensei (田原弘徳先生) (Hanshi 8-dan) from Tokyo, Japan
Masuo Shinotsuka Sensei (篠塚増穂先生)(Hanshi 8-dan) from Kanagawa, Japan
Masao Iida Sensei (飯田正雄先生) (Kyoshi 7-dan)
The tentative schedule:
November 13, 2015 (Friday): Godo-keiko (joint practice) (in the evening)
November 14, 2015 (Saturday): Kendo Seminar, directed by the senseis from Japan (all day)
Emphasis: Shiai rules, techniques, etc. including shinpan rules, etc.
November 15, 2015 (Sunday): Goyokai Kendo Tournament (all day)
Location: At or near Boston Higashi School, Randolph, MA.
