As the Canadian National Junior Kendo Championships are just around the corner on May 18th, Kendo Ontario would like to share the results of the fundraising draw for the GIGANTIC chocolate bunny!
Fariya Doctor from Niagara Kendo Club was the lucky winner of this year’s prize. Many thanks to Chocolate Barr’s Candies in Stratford for donating the bunny to Kendo Ontario for the draw.
The fundraiser itself was a great success. Thanks to the generosity of the Ontario Kendo Community, it was possible to provide financial support to the Junior team for this year’s Canadian National Junior Kendo Championships.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of our volunteers who made the draw possible and to the Kendo Juniors who sold tickets at the UofT Tournament. Honourable mention goes to Matthew from Niagara Kendo Club for his efforts to safely deliver the prize to Fariya and the Niagara Kendo Club.
