Dear Kendo Community,

We will be hosting a Referee / Shinpan Seminar on Sunday March 12 in preparation for the upcoming U of T Sr Tournament on March 25, JCCC Jr Tournament on April 30 and Canadian National Kendo Championships on August 12-13, 2023.  The seminar will be interactive and open to Kendoka ranked 4th Dan and higher.  We will also share information presented at the International Kendo Federation Referee / Shinpan Seminar on February 25-26 in Los Angeles, California, USA.  Shinpan is an important part of one’s development in Kendo.

We also invite Kendo players ranked 2D to 3D and juniors to participate as players.  This is a very good opportunity to gain further shiai / competitive experience.

Participants for the seminar (both Shinpan and players) are asked to register by sending name, rank (kyu/dan and shogo) and dojo to info@kendoontario.ca by Tuesday March 7, 2023 EOD (end of day).
